Michael Jordan knows an amazing shot when he sees one. After all, the man hit the game winner over Georgetown for the 1982 National Championship.
After coming down from Marcus Paige’s clutch 3-pointer, Jordan witnessed likely the greatest buzzer-beater in the history of the NCAA Tournament by Kris Jenkins. His reaction? Let’s just say it won’t get turned into another Crying MJ meme.
In summation: Real recognize real.
Jordan was the man who hit the clutch shots for both North Carolina and the Chicago Bulls throughout his career. Paige nearly mimicked the UNC great with his juicy jumper, but it was Jenkins who had the last word.
It was, as Jordan described it, a great shot. It also happened to be a dagger in the hearts of UNC fans. Luckily, the Tar Heels still have five national championships thanks to great players like Jordan.
